National Servies Scheme Unit of the College observed environment day on 5th June 2023 by planting saplings of fruit-bearing trees on the college campus and in the adopted school. Dr Neethu George (Principal, B A M College), the Programme Officers – Mr Sreeresh D., Ms Sunitha Krishnan and the volunteers together planted the saplings. In the adopted school, the Headmistress, Ms Bava G., Senior faculty Ms Susan, students and teachers participated in the programme.

The PG & UG Departments of Botany organized a one-day seminar in connection with World Environment Day, and the theme was Beat Plastic Pollution on 7th Wednesday 2023, at 11.30 am in the seminar hall. Dr Jay Thomas (Director, SF Wing) delivered welcome address. The meeting was presided over by Dr Neethu George (Principal). Dr Rani R. Nair (IQAC Co-ordinator) and Mr Ens Mathews (Asst. Professor & Head, Department of Physics) felicitated the programme. Dr Robi A.J. (Co-ordinator of the seminar) introduced the chief guest. Chief guest Prof. (Dr.) Jomy Augustine, Retd. Head, Department of Botany, St. Thomas College, Pala has delivered a lecture on “Nature Conservation Whose Responsibility”. He mentioned that nature conservation is the duty of everyone. Dr Anoop P. Balan (Co-ordinator of the seminar) acknowledged the programme. 95 participants from various departments attended the seminar.,
