Parent Teacher Association (PTA)

 The Higher Education Department of Kerala has issued an official order stating that the Parent-Teacher Association should be mandatory in all aided and Private Arts and Science colleges across the state. According to the Higher Education Department of Kerala, PTA plays a vital role in the betterment of basic amenities at the college, discipline, academic and administrative aspects. As per the official notification issued by Kerala Department of Higher Education, the PTA is a formal organization that comprises of teachers and parents who are intended to enable/ ensure parental participation in higher learning institutes. The main responsibility of the PTA is to work for the welfare of students, supporting the quality enhancement of the teaching & learning process and improvement of infrastructural facilities in the college.
