Bishop Abraham Memorial College

The college being in a rural area does not have much public transport availability. B A M College bus offers multiple trips to the nearby towns every morning and evening.  A KSRTC service from Thiruvalla to Mallappally is routed via the college in the morning and a return service is routed via the college in the evening.

The objective of the Canteen is to provide the staff and students quality meals prepared under proper sanitary conditions with unadulterated ingredients assuring food safety and reducing the risk of food-borne illness. From the very beginning of the College, the College Canteen has been functioning efficiently. The canteen is located inside the College Campus.

The Management of the Canteen is under the control of the College Administration. The College Management has subsidized the operational cost by providing rent free, purpose-built Canteen building with free water and electricity. The Contractor of the Canteen is selected on an academic year basis through quotations received from suitable contractors with experience in food services management and the Contractor’s team manages the canteen. Students and staff of the College are benefited by the College Canteen.

The Co-operative store provides books and writing materials at subsidized prices. The store also provides photocopying facility and is well utilized by the students and the staff.

The students and faculty do not have to go outside the campus to download and print or copy their important documents. For ensuring maximum convenience to both, the college facilitates the campus with a copy, and printing Centre attached to the library which is open during the working hours. Students and faculty are enabled to access internet after the regular working hours using the campus wide WIFI network.

B A M College Ground is in the college Campus. Our beautifully maintained Sports Ground, superbly located in the heart of Thuruthicad, can be used by local Sports Clubs and schools for a variety of sporting activities.
