Department of Physical Education

The Department of Physical Education in B A M college has been functioning from the very inceptions of the College in 1965. The Department is very much committed to encouraging students‘ talent in sports and games by giving rigorous coaching in volleyball, handball, football, cricket, swimming, and throwball. The Handball team of the college has bagged many prestigious achievements. Housewise sports activities are conducted at the end of every academic year.

B. A. M. college is named after Bishop Abraham Mar Thoma Metropolitan. For him, life was to wear out than to rust out. The institution upholds these ideas and conveys to the student community that devotion to truth and disciplined behaviour are the prime requirements for a successful life.
