Department of Physics
Physics education in the college started in 1965, the year of inception of the college and offered Physics course at pre-degree (Plus two) level. The undergraduate (UG) level teaching started in 1993 by offering complimentary courses in Physics for B.Sc. Chemistry programme. In 1998 the department became a full-fledged UG department by starting Model II B. Sc. programme in Physics with Mathematics as complimentary course and Computer Application as the vocational course.
