Department of Mathematics

Mathematics education in the college started in 1965, the year of inception of the college and offered Mathematics course at pre-degree (Plus two) level. The undergraduate (UG) level teaching started in 1993 by offering complimentary courses for B.Sc. Chemistry programme. In 1999 the department became a full-fledged UG department by starting B. Sc. programme in Mathematics with Physics and Statistics as complimentary courses.
