In response to the increasing incidents of violence against women in workplaces and public spaces, the Self-Financing Department of B.A.M College organized a public awareness program on 30th August 2024. The event, held at 9:00am near the Mallappally Bus Stand, was inaugurated by the president of Mallappally Grama Panchayat, Smt. Vidyamol S. Dr. AneeshKumar G.S. (Principal-BAM College), Dr. Jasy Thomas (Director-Self Financing) and Divya Kochukoshy(HOD, Department of Commerce (SF), were among the speakers. The flash mob and mime performance by the students provided a refreshing experience for the audience. Following this, an awareness program was conducted at Vennikulam St. Behanan’s Higher Secondary School, presided over by School Principal Dr. Jacob Abraham. Dr. Jasy Thomas led the seminar on topic ‘Respect, Protection and Empower’.
