Ms. Ammu Brigit explained copy right related to artistic creations such as books, music, paintings, sculptures, films and technology related works such as computer programmes and electronic databases. She also discussed about copyright law, the Berne convention list of copyright examples, different types of rights under copyright, moral rights and also mentioned about the limitations of rights. Examples of free use, fair use, duration of copyright and right to royalties also were discussed. Related rights such as performer’s right, broadcast reproduction rights also were discussed in detail. She also mentioned about copyright infringement and action procedure against it.
